“Working for the UC Foundation has given me practical experience in a real-world professional setting.
It was an enriching experience to be able to finish out my Masters Degree in Organizational Communication while combining what I was learning in the classroom and in the workplace.
I loved giving back to an educational institution that has provided me with so many great memories.
The most salient thing I noticed while being the Human Resources Intern is that there is such a strong loyalty to the University that is so noticeable by all departments at the UC Foundation…it’s almost contagious.
The aspect that I loved most about working at UCF was the “family feel” that was evident each and every day. It was truly an experience I will never forget.”

"The University of Cincinnati Foundation has given me many skills that will pay off in my career.
Working in the Annual Giving department was very rewarding because I knew I was helping build a future for the University by cultivating early donors who may eventually become the major supporters of our great Alma Mater.
I had never thought of working in development or non-profit before my internship, but now I see how great it is and I will be pursuing a career in it after graduation!"

"I had a great experience working in the UCF President’s office.
I was given the opportunity to do many fun and interesting things through my internship, including attending several UCF Board meetings.
By working with the UCF Trustees, I learned how to communicate in a professional manner and proper office etiquette.
I loved coming in to work every day to face new projects.
An internship at the UC Foundation is a perfect job for UC students. UCF knows that school comes first and they are very accommodating to student schedules.
The UCF offices are just a short shuttle ride away from main campus, and it is a good opportunity to learn what few students know about the University of Cincinnati."
